General questions

How do I get started with ScaffDocs?
Download the app from Google Play or the App Store, create your account, then go to My Company and enter your details. Your company name, logo, address and contact info will appear automatically on all your PDFs.
Does ScaffDocs work offline?
ScaffDocs requires an internet connection to sign in and sync your documents to the cloud. Once signed in, many features work with a limited connection, but a stable internet connection gives you the best experience.
Is it available on both Android and iOS?
Yes. ScaffDocs is available on both Android (Google Play) and iOS (App Store). Your account and documents are stored in the cloud so you can access them from any device.
Can I use ScaffDocs on my tablet?
Absolutely — ScaffDocs works on both phones and tablets. The layout adapts automatically. Many users find a tablet ideal for filling in RAMS and inspections on site.

RAMS and documents

Are the RAMS documents legally compliant?
ScaffDocs generates professional, industry-standard RAMS templates covering the Work at Height Regulations 2005. However, every RAMS must be reviewed and amended by a competent person before use on a specific site. You are responsible for ensuring documents are suitable before issue.
Can I add my company logo to PDFs?
Yes — go to My Company, tap the logo area and upload your logo from your camera or gallery. It will appear automatically on all your PDFs including RAMS, inspections, invoices and handover certificates.
How do I share a document?
Tap the Share / Export button on any document screen. Share via WhatsApp, email, save it to your phone or print it. The app uses your device's built-in sharing so any app on your phone can receive the PDF.
Can I access previous documents?
Yes — every document is saved to your account in the cloud. Open any previous RAMS, inspection, invoice or Safe Start from its history screen and re-export at any time, from any device.
Data & privacy

Your data

Where is my data stored?
Your data is securely stored in the cloud using Google Firebase, encrypted in transit and at rest. This means your documents are accessible from any device you sign in to. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
What happens if I change phone?
Because your data is stored in the cloud, simply download ScaffDocs on your new device, sign in with the same account, and all your documents and company profile will be there waiting for you.
How do I delete my account?
Visit our Account Deletion page for step-by-step instructions. We will delete your account and all associated data within 30 days of your request.

Payment & licence

How much does ScaffDocs cost?
ScaffDocs is a one-time purchase of £20. Pay once and the app is yours — no monthly subscription, no annual renewal. Future updates are included.
How do I access on a new device?
Download ScaffDocs on your new device and sign in with your account. Your licence and all your data will be restored automatically.
Can I get a refund?
Refund requests are handled by Google Play or the Apple App Store under their respective refund policies. Please contact the relevant store directly.
