1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing or using ScaffDocs ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Licence

ScaffDocs grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App on devices you own or control, subject to these terms. This licence is for personal or business use within your own scaffolding operation.

You may not:

• Copy, modify or distribute the App
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code
• Sell, sublicence or transfer the App to any third party
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose

3. One-time purchase

ScaffDocs is available for a one-time purchase. This provides lifetime access to the App on the platform purchased (Android or iOS). Payment is processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store and is subject to their respective terms.

Refunds are handled in accordance with the refund policy of the app store through which you made your purchase.

4. Your responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

• The accuracy of all data entered into the App
• Ensuring all RAMS, inspection reports and other documents are reviewed and are appropriate for your specific site conditions before use
• Compliance with all applicable health and safety legislation, regulations and industry guidance
• Any decisions made based on information generated by the App
• Backing up your data — all data is stored locally on your device

5. RAMS and safety documents

Documents generated by ScaffDocs, including Risk Assessments and Method Statements, are provided as templates to assist you in creating your own site-specific documentation. They must be reviewed, amended and approved by a competent person before use on any site.

ScaffDocs does not accept liability for any incident, injury or loss arising from the use of documents generated by the App without appropriate review and amendment.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted or suitable for any particular purpose. We do not warrant that documents generated by the App will meet any specific legal or regulatory requirement.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScaffDocs Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of business or any incident arising from the use of generated documents on site.

8. Updates

We may update the App from time to time. Updates may add, change or remove features. We reserve the right to discontinue the App with reasonable notice.

9. Governing law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
