The short version: ScaffDocs stores all your data locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit or sell your personal data. Your information stays on your phone or tablet.

2. What data the app stores
ScaffDocs stores the following information locally on your device:
- Company profile details (name, address, email, phone, logo)
- Job register records
- Scaffolder details and CISRS card information
- Inspection records and reports
- RAMS documents
- Invoice records and client details
- Safe Start briefing records
- Handover certificate records
- Site photos attached to records
- Digital signatures captured within the app
3. Where your data is stored
All data entered into ScaffDocs is stored exclusively on your device using your device's local storage. We do not operate servers that receive, process or store your personal data. We do not use cloud sync or backup services.
If you uninstall the app, all locally stored data will be deleted from your device.
4. Data we do NOT collect
- Usage analytics or behavioural data
- Location data
- Device identifiers beyond what the app store requires for licensing
- Any personal information beyond what you voluntarily enter into the app
5. PDF documents and sharing
When you export a document and share it via email, WhatsApp or any other method, that document is shared using your device's own sharing functionality. We have no visibility of who you share documents with or how they are used after leaving your device.
6. App store purchases
Payments are processed entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Payment data is governed by Google's and Apple's respective privacy policies.
7. Children's privacy
ScaffDocs is designed for use by adults in a professional context. We do not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 16.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
